On June 18, 2026, the 24th Meeting of the Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (ICMEC CSTO) was held in Minsk on the sidelines of the 3rd International Security Industry Exhibition “National Security. Belarus 2026”. The meeting was chaired by Dmitry Stefanovich, Head of the Belarusian National Section of the ICMEC and Deputy Chairman of the State Authority for Military Industry of the Republic of Belarus.
On June 18, 2026, the 2nd Military-Economic Conference of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, entitled “Development of Cooperation among the Defense Industries (Military-Industrial Complexes) of the CSTO Member States: 20 Years of Practical Cooperation”, was held in Minsk on the sidelines of the 3rd International Security Industry Exhibition “National Security. Belarus 2026”. The event brought together representatives of relevant ministries, agencies, defense enterprises, and other institutions and organizations of the CSTO member states.
A delegation of the CSTO Secretariat, headed by CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov, is taking part in the 3rd International Security Industry Exhibition “National Security. Belarus 2026”, being held in Minsk from June 17 to 19, 2026.

In the Kyrgyz Republic, the second stage of the “Interaction-2024” command-staff training and the “Search-2024” and “Echelon-2024” special trainings were practiced, during which preparations were made for a joint operation by the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces (CRRF) to resolve an armed conflict in the Central Asian region.
An important element of the stage was the definition of the concept of the joint operation.
Colonel Samat Seydaliyev, Commander of the CSTO CRRF, a representative of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic and commander of the 8th Guards Motorized Rezhitsky Division named after I.V. Panfilov, Order of Lenin, Red Banner, Order of Suvorov, organized the work of the officers of the CSTO CRRF command in preparing the relevant proposals and developing a plan for the joint operation.
The plan approved by the training leadership became the basis for the decision of the Commander of the CSTO CRRF Commander to conduct a joint operation, the main objectives of which are to repel aggression, block and destroy illegal armed formations, their training camps and bases, and restore the situation along the state border line.
At present, the CSTO CRRF Command has worked out the planning of a joint operation, the organization of command, cooperation and comprehensive support. Combat tasks are being assigned and combat work is being organized at the command posts of CSTO CRRF units and subunits. Practical training for the joint operation is being carried out at the firing range.
On the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, under the charge of Colonel Artur Temirov, First Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, a command-staff training with the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces “Interaction-2024”, a special training with intelligence forces and means “Search-2024”, and a special training with logistical forces and means “Echelon-2024” are being conducted.
Contingents of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan are taking part in the training. Among them are military contingents, formations of special-purpose forces from among the special units of the internal affairs (police), security and special services bodies, authorized bodies in the field of prevention and elimination of the consequences of emergency situations, as well as operational groups of the CSTO Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat. A total of about 1,500 servicemen and up to 300 units of weapons, military and special equipment, including aircraft, various types of strike drones, combat boats and air defense equipment, are involved.
