Today, the active phase of the joint exercise with the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region (CRDF CAR) “Frontier-2026” concluded on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the “Conduct of combat operations” stage, two main training objectives are being practiced: the occupation by the national contingents of the CRDF CAR of the area of responsibility and the destruction of illegal armed formations that have invaded the territory of a CSTO member state.
The active phase of the joint exercise with the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region (CRDF CAR) “Frontier-2026” has begun at the Koktal training range in the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the exercise, the participating forces are practicing the preparation and conduct of combat operations to destroy illegal armed formations that have invaded the territory of a CSTO member state.
Joint Staff Delegation of the CSTO Participates in the 12th Meeting of Heads of Border Services of SCO Member States

On July 17, a delegation of the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization took part in the 12th Meeting of Heads of Border Services of the Competent Authorities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States, held in Islamabad, Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
During the meeting, Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Colonel General Andrey Serdyukov noted that the Organization’s key tasks are the timely identification of signs indicating the emergence of crisis situations within its area of responsibility and the adoption of appropriate measures to resolve them. He also emphasized that ensuring collective security requires close cooperation with all relevant international organizations.
On the sidelines of the meeting, representatives of the CSTO Joint Staff held discussions with the leadership of the Executive Committee of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure, the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center, and the Coordination Service of the CIS Council of Border Troops Commanders on further developing cooperation among the working bodies of the organizations.
