The 12th Southern Information Security Forum “Infoforum Sochi 2026” is taking place in Sochi, Russia, from June 30 to July 3. On October 14, this year, in Minsk, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Makei held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Stanislav Zas, that visited the Republic of Belarus. BELTA news agency was informed about that by the Foreign Ministry Press Service.
"The parties exchanged opinions on the current situation in the field of international and regional security, spoke in favor of the development and strengthening of interaction between the CSTO and other international organizations, primarily with the UN. They also discussed promising areas of cooperation within the CSTO, issues of preparation for the upcoming meetings of the statutory bodies of the organization this year," the Foreign Ministry noted.
