"The collective security agreement is not directed against anyone. The states that have signed have proceeded from the need to rally their efforts to ensure security in the CSTO zone, so this is not about private gain. And this is a collective benefit, a benefit that is obtained by joint efforts of all, so our approach is concrete and the sooner the CSTO adapts to modern realities, the better for all the participants in the collective security agreement, ”said Sargsyan.

“We are trying, as I have already said, having arisen in completely different new realities, first of all, to concentrate our efforts on real threats, on joint struggle against these real threats. The organization now includes six countries: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
