From 25 to 27 July, the CSTO Joint Staff hosted a working meeting of the heads of defense communication management bodies of the CSTO member states.
On 13 July, Minsk hosted the 2nd meeting of the Coordination Council of authorized bodies of the CSTO member States on biological security issues. The Council meeting was attended by representatives of all CSTO member states.

The West and Russia need to build confidence in security issues - this was talked about today at the CSTO headquarters in Moscow. There was a meeting of the Acting CSTO Secretary General Valery Semerikov and OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger, reports MIR 24.
“We need to strengthen confidence-building measures, we need to review our interactions on many issues, especially in the fight against terrorism and heightening military tension, ensuring military security,” said Semerikov.
