The CSTO Collective Forces go to the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in joint trainings
27.09.2022From September 26 to October 13, 2022 on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan the command-staff training "Interaction-2022" with the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces, special trainings "Search-2022" with forces and means of intelligence and "Echelon-2022" with the units of Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces). will be held.
The active phase of the training will be conducted at the “Matybulak” training range from 3 to 7 October. Practical actions of the CSTO Collective Forces will be carried out in difficult conditions of mountain and desert terrain.
The trainings will involve military contingents of the CSTO member states, task forces of the CSTO Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat, special-purpose force formations from the special units of the internal affairs (police), security and special services, as well as authorized bodies in the area of emergency prevention and liquidation of consequences of emergencies.
It is planned that the total number of participants in the trainings in the Republic of Kazakhstan will be more than 6,500 people and more than 850 units of military and special equipment, including aircraft, helicopters and strike drones.
