CSTO Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov held a meeting at the Organization’s Secretariat with a delegation of the Monitoring Team of the UN Security Council Sanctions Committees 1267/1989/2253 concerning ISIL and Al-Qaeda and 1988 concerning the Taliban Movement United Nations Security Council.

On October 7, this year, the CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas took part in the round table "CSTO: Landmarks for Strategic Development" held by the Russian Foreign Ministry as part of the “CSTO Days”, as well as in a meeting of its participants with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. In the course of the discussion, S.V. Zas informed about the efforts undertaken by the CSTO Secretariat to assist in the development of allied cooperation in all areas of the Organization's activities, including coordination in the field of foreign policy, military and military-technical cooperation, joint counteraction to new challenges and threats.
