On September 11, 2024, in Bishkek, the CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubayev.
They have discussed the military and political situation in the CSTO area of responsibility, the implementation of the priorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which holds the Chairmanship of the Organization, and issues related to the forthcoming Kyrgyz Chairmanship in 2025.
There was an exchange of views on the implementation of the decisions of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization and the implementation of activities planned for 2024.
The parties noted that in connection with the growing processes of global transformation, the Organization would have to concentrate on the development of collective approaches to the protection of the security interests of the member states, giving priority to political and diplomatic solutions.
