The 23rd meeting of the Military Committee on military cooperation development among the CSTO member states under the supervision of the Chairman of the Military Committee, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation - First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Valery Gerasimov, took place today via videoconferencing.

From April 8 to 11, 2024, the XXI International Seminar-Meeting on Combined Martial Arts with the heads of combat and physical training of the security ministries and agencies of the CSTO member states took place at the Park Hotel "Horizon", Odintsovo District, Moscow Region.

The event was addressed by Gennady Troislit, the Deputy Head of the Organizational and Planning Department of the CSTO Secretariat, and Oleg Ufimtsev, the President of the Russian Federation of Combined Martial Arts.

The CSTO Collective Forces go to the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in joint trainings 27.09.2022

From September 26 to October 13, 2022 on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan the command-staff training "Interaction-2022" with the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces, special trainings "Search-2022" with forces and means of intelligence and "Echelon-2022" with the units of Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces)will be held.

The active phase of the training will be conducted at the “Matybulak” training range from 3 to 7 October. Practical actions of the CSTO Collective Forces will be carried out in difficult conditions of mountain and desert terrain. 39fb18ba35099e58f93cd9a0eccbc664.jpg

The trainings will involve military contingents of the CSTO member states, task forces of the CSTO Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat, special-purpose force formations from the special units of the internal affairs (police), security and special services, as well as authorized bodies in the area of emergency prevention and liquidation of consequences of emergencies.

It is planned that the total number of participants in the trainings in the Republic of Kazakhstan will be more than 6,500 people and more than 850 units of military and special equipment, including aircraft, helicopters and strike drones.
