Today, the active phase of the joint exercise with the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region (CRDF CAR) “Frontier-2026” concluded on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the “Conduct of combat operations” stage, two main training objectives are being practiced: the occupation by the national contingents of the CRDF CAR of the area of responsibility and the destruction of illegal armed formations that have invaded the territory of a CSTO member state.
The active phase of the joint exercise with the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region (CRDF CAR) “Frontier-2026” has begun at the Koktal training range in the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the exercise, the participating forces are practicing the preparation and conduct of combat operations to destroy illegal armed formations that have invaded the territory of a CSTO member state.

16.08.2022A delegation of the CSTO Secretariat headed by the Deputy Secretary General of the Organization Takhir Khayrulloyev took part in the opening of the VIII International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2022" and the VIII International Army Games, which took place on August 15, 2022, in the military-patriotic park of culture and leisure of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation "Patriot".
The Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke at the opening ceremony.
In the course of the round table held as part of the Forum on the theme: "Single contours of biological, cognitive, information, energy and food security of the countries in the conditions of sanctions wars. The CSTO, the BRICS, and the SCO - New Challenges, Prospects, and Opportunities", an exchange of views on collective security in the context of sanctions wars took place. The CSTO Secretariat's position was presented by Alexander Kuznetsov, Advisor of the Department for Countering Challenges and Threats.
