The CSTO Deputy Secretary General took part in the Open International Youth Sambo Festival of the national teams of the CSTO member states
30.09.2022On September 27-30 of this year, in Kemerovo city, the Open International Youth Sambo Festival between national teams of the CSTO member states was held, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of signing the Collective Security Treaty and the 20th anniversary of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
The CSTO Deputy Secretary General Takhir Khayruloyev greeted the contestants. He noted that the competition of young sambo wrestlers under the auspices of the Organization was held for the fifth time, which made it a good tradition. The Deputy Secretary General also stressed the importance of strengthening sports ties between the CSTO member states and popularizing martial arts as an effective means of physical and volitional training of young men for service in the armed forces, security and law enforcement agencies.
Takhir Khayruloyev thanked Governor of Kemerovo region Sergey Tsivilyov, Chairman of the regional branch of the All-Russian Sambo Federation of Kuzbass Denis Rybakov and the President of the All-Russian Sambo Federation Sergey Eliseev for support and active participation in the preparation of the Festival.
The winner of the competition, the Russian team, was awarded the main prize - the Cup of the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
