At the Losvido training range in the Republic of Belarus, peacekeeping units repelled a simulated enemy attack on a humanitarian convoy during the command-and-staff exercise with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces “Indestructible Brotherhood-2026”.
These days, the 23rd International Combat Sambo Tournament for the Cup of the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, featuring law enforcement personnel from CSTO member states, is being held at the Ognikovo Park Hotel (19 Ognikovo, Istra District, Moscow Region).
At the Losvido training range in the Republic of Belarus, peacekeeping units practiced tactical procedures at a stationary checkpoint as part of the process of coordinating units and practicing joint actions during the command-and-staff exercise with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces “Indestructible Brotherhood-2026”.
Today, at the Starodorozhsky training range in the Republic of Belarus, servicemen of the CSTO joint NBC protection and medical support formation began practical operations as part of the “Barrier-2026” special exercise.
At an informal meeting of foreign ministers of the CSTO member states in Milan, a Statement in support of the INF Treaty was adopted. The event was attended by Deputy Secretary General of the CSTO Alymbay Sultanov
06.12.2018The Deputy Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, who was at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy on a visit to Milan, took part in the 25th meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe held there. Italy is currently chairing the OSCE.
A.Sultanov also participated in an informal meeting of foreign ministers of the CSTO member states on the sidelines of the meeting on December 6, during which the ministers exchanged views on the coordination of the positions of the CSTO member states on the agenda of the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting. Other issues of mutual interest were discussed. The meeting adopted a joint Statement of the CSTO member states in support of the INF Treaty, which will be circulated as an official OSCE document.
