Attention! We are warning you about a new fraud scheme. The attackers are using fake videos with the CSTO leadership created by artificial intelligence.
Recently, cases of fraudulent attacks have become more frequent, in which attackers use artificial intelligence technology to create fake video messages.
Scammers create realistic videos where the digital double of the CSTO Secretary General asks for a transfer of funds under a fictitious pretext.
Please note:
· Under no circumstances does the CSTO leadership make requests related to financial transactions.
· All official messages and video messages are posted on the CSTO website and the Organization's official resources.
Safety recommendations:
Don't believe your eyes and ears. Modern technology allows you to create extremely realistic fake videos and audio. The one you see on the screen is a digital double controlled by a criminal.
Do not download anything or register anywhere. A digital double may ask you to download the app, click on a link, or register on a fake website. This is done to steal your data or infect your device with a virus.
Check through the official channels. All official information is published only on the CSTO website and official resources.
Complain about the fraudulent video on the platform where you discovered it. This will help stop its spread and protect other users.
