On September 4, 2026, consultations on “Coordinating the positions of CSTO member states on the agenda of the UN General Assembly” were held in Moscow in accordance with the Plan of Consultations of Representatives of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Member States on Foreign Policy, Security and Defense for 2025–2027.
On September 4 this year, a round table entitled “CSTO–SCO: Security Space” was held as part of the business program of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.
Today, a briefing was held by Colonel General Andrey Nikolaevich Serdyukov, Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, on the topic “On the readiness of command and control bodies and formations of the CSTO collective security system forces and assets to conduct joint exercises.”

Regular training courses for representatives of the CSTO member states have been completed at the CSTO Secretariat
On 17 April, the annual training courses for representatives of the CSTO member states who do not have the status of military personnel were completed at the CSTO Secretariat.
During the courses, participants were provided with up-to-date information on the current areas of the Organization’s activities and the existing legal and regulatory framework of the CSTO. Particular attention was paid to a detailed analysis of the strategic prospects for the Organization’s development.
Following the completion of the courses, certificates were ceremonially awarded to the participants.
