On December 22, 2025, consultations were held at the CSTO Secretariat of the heads of press services (information departments) of the foreign ministries of the CSTO member states. The event was attended by representatives of the Secretariat, the Joint Staff, and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization.

The event participants have thoroughly discussed a wide range of issues related to expanding cooperation in the field of information and analysis.

In connection with the planned formation of the Information and Analytical Department of the CSTO Secretariat in the first half of 2026, the importance of institutionalizing the unit's information work was noted, and in this regard, the parties noted the advisability of approving a document regulating this area of the Organization's work.

The Russian side emphasized the advisability of developing the CSTO Secretariat's network resources, primarily modernizing the Organization's official website.

CSTO Secretariat staff reported on the preparation of a Conceptual Report in 2025 on the topic: “The Great Eurasian Partnership: Shared Responsibility for a Secure Future.”

The next consultations between the heads of information departments (press services) of the foreign ministries of the CSTO member states are scheduled to be held in the fourth quarter of 2026.
