On May 24, 2022, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikian, a meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization was held via videoconferencing.

The defense ministers of the Republic of Belarus (Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin), of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Colonel General Ruslan Zhaksylykov), of the Kyrgyz Republic (Lieutenant General Baktybek Bekbolotov), of the Russian Federation (Army General Sergey Shoygu), of the Republic of Tajikistan (Colonel General Sherali Mirzo), as well as the CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas and the Head of the CSTO Joint Staff - Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov participated in the meeting.


The CSTO is holding a contest in social networks "CSTO. 30 YEARS - TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG!”

WhatsApp Image 2022-05-11 at 13.42.30.jpegOn May 13, 2022, in accordance with the Plan of events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Collective Security Treaty and the 20th anniversary of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the contest in social networks "CSTO. 30 YEARS - TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG!" is starting.

The aim of the contest is to raise awareness of the CSTO activities among the target audience. Participants are encouraged to post photos, videos or texts about the CSTO activities in social networks with the hashtag #ОДКБВместеМыСила. Contest procedures are posted on the "ALLIES.CSTO” (https://odkb-info.org/news/tema-nomera/3049/)

Publications telling about the history of the Organization, about political, military cooperation, counteraction to modern challenges and threats, security of the information space, parliamentary interaction should be posted in one of the social networks (VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Telegram channels). Posts with photo/video materials will be evaluated according to such criteria as novelty, originality and creativity of the video or photo, informative, idea, social significance, technical quality.

Participation in the contest is free, and the contest is public and open.

Information for the preparation of entries can be found on the CSTO official website https://odkb-csto.org/, on the Organization's social media accounts and on the Internet resource " ALLIES.CSTO" (https://odkb-info.org/).

Entries will be accepted from May 13 to 31, 2022 inclusive, and the winners will be announced by June 10, 2022.

According to the results of the contest 3 prizes will be determined. Winners of the contest will be awarded diplomas and valuable gifts. Authors of the best works, selected by the decision of the Jury of the contest, will also be awarded diplomas and souvenirs.

The best publications will be posted on the Organizer's websites:

- the website of the publication "Allies.CSTO" (https://odkb-info.org/).

Information about the winners of the Contest will also be posted on the official CSTO Telegram channel https://t.me/odkb_csto, as well as on the CSTO accounts in the social networks ВКонтакте and Одноклассники.
