Today, the active phase of the joint exercise with the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region (CRDF CAR) “Frontier-2026” concluded on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the “Conduct of combat operations” stage, two main training objectives are being practiced: the occupation by the national contingents of the CRDF CAR of the area of responsibility and the destruction of illegal armed formations that have invaded the territory of a CSTO member state.

The Belarusian state news agency "BelTA” reports, that on February 13, this year, in Minsk, the State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Wolfovich met with the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Imangali Tasmagambetov.
During the meeting, opinions were exchanged on current developments on the international agenda. They discussed the chairmanship of the Republic of Belarus in the organization and the implementation of the decisions previously taken by the CSTO Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils.
Imangali Tasmagambetov informed of the work of the CSTO Secretariat in preparation for the next events scheduled for 2023.
Alexander Wolfovich drew attention to the Belarus' initiatives within the framework of the presidency in the organization, which passed from Armenia to Belarus at the end of last year, and also suggested holding the next meeting of the CSTO Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils in Minsk in June this year.
