Minsk hosts the 24th Meeting of the CSTO Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation 18.06.2026

On June 18, 2026, the 24th Meeting of the Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (ICMEC CSTO) was held in Minsk on the sidelines of the 3rd International Security Industry Exhibition “National Security. Belarus 2026”. The meeting was chaired by Dmitry Stefanovich, Head of the Belarusian National Section of the ICMEC and Deputy Chairman of the State Authority for Military Industry of the Republic of Belarus.

The participants reviewed the Commission’s work in implementing the decisions adopted at the 23rd Meeting of the ICMEC, held in Astana in November of last year.

The agenda also included discussions on the establishment of an interstate cataloguing system for military supplies of the armed forces of the CSTO member states; the mutual protection of intellectual property rights for the results of intellectual activity created and used within the framework of military-economic cooperation in the CSTO format; and the organization of exhibitions showcasing military, dual-use, and special-purpose products and technologies of the CSTO member states at international exhibitions scheduled for 2027–2028.

The Commission adopted the necessary decisions on all agenda items, including approval of its Work Plan for 2027.

It was decided that the 25th Meeting of the Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation would be held in the Russian Federation in September–October 2027.
