From June 2 to 4, the Republic of Belarus hosted the second staff talks on the organization and conduct of the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces command-and-staff exercise “Indestructible Brotherhood 2026” and the special exercise “Barrier 2026” involving the CSTO Joint CBRN Protection and Medical Support Formation.
On June 3, 2026, a regular meeting of the CSTO Council of Defense Ministers (CDM) was held at the Patriot Central Park of the Russian Ministry of Defense under the chairmanship of the Russian side. The meeting was attended by CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov and Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Andrey Serdyukov.

On June 1, 2026, consultations at the deputy foreign minister level of the CSTO member states were held in Moscow.
On May 28, 2026, CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov took part in the International Security Forum held under the auspices of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. More than 150 delegations from 120 countries participated in the event.
A joint meeting of the CSTO ICMEC heads and members of the national parts and the CSTO ICMEC Business Council was held in Minsk
On May 18 this year, in the framework of the business program of the XI International Exhibition of Armament and Military Equipment "MILEX - 2023", an offsite Joint meeting of the CSTO ICMEC heads and members of national parts and the CSTO ICMEC Business Council was held.
The event was chaired by Vyacheslav Rossolay, the Deputy Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee of the Republic of Belarus and Head of the Belarusian National Part of the ICMEC.
The CSTO Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov, representatives of ministries, departments, enterprises and organizations of defense-industrial (military-industrial) complexes of the CSTO member states, officials and employees of the CSTO Secretariat and the CSTO Joint Staff also participated in the meeting.
The meeting participants expressed mutual interest in the further development of military-economic cooperation. In their opinion, it is necessary to further expand cooperative ties between enterprises and organizations of defense-industrial complexes of the CSTO member states, develop a network of service centers to repair weapons and military equipment, create joint ventures to produce military, dual and special purpose products, and improve processes of diversification in the production of defense enterprises.
The ICMEC national parts expressed an interest in the further development of military and economic cooperation within the CSTO and considered appropriate to continue the implementation of relevant activities. In particular, the meeting participants stressed the need to adopt in the near future within the CSTO format an agreement on the standardization of armaments and military equipment within the CSTO.
On May 19, as part of the business program of the Exhibition "MILEX - 2023", a meeting of the Coordinating Council of the Authorized Bodies of the CSTO member states on advertising and exhibition activities will be held.
