Minsk hosted a working meeting of heads of central bodies of encryption services of the armed forces of the CSTO member States

In accordance with the Plan of joint training of command bodies and formations of forces and means of the CSTO collective security system for 2022, approved by the decisions of the CSTO Defense Ministers Council and the CSTO Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils, a working meeting of the heads of central bodies of encryption services of the armed forces of the CSTO member States was held in Minsk from June 21 to 24.

The working meeting was attended by the heads of the central encryption services of the armed forces of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as representatives of the State Secrets Protection Department of the CSTO Center for Planning, Preparation and Training of Troops (Collective Forces) of the CSTO Joint Staff.

The working meeting participants have heard information from Colonel Sergei Voloshin, head of the State Secrets Protection Department of the CSTO Center for Planning, Preparation and Training of Troops (Collective Forces) of the CSTO Joint Staff, on the development of systems for protecting classified information and covert communications between the CSTO Joint Staff and the general staffs of the armed forces of the CSTO member States and the commands of coalition groupings of troops (forces) of the CSTO.

A protocol was signed by the participants at the end of the meeting.
