Today, the active phase of the command-and-staff exercise with the Collective Operational Reaction Forces (CORF) of the CSTO “Interaction-2026” and the special exercises “Search-2026” and “Echelon-2026” concluded in the Russian Federation.
In the Russian Federation, at the Chebarkulsky training range, particular attention is being paid to organizing the evacuation and repair of damaged equipment under the threat of enemy UAV attacks during the special exercise with the logistics forces and assets of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) “Echelon-2026”.
Today, at the Chebarkulsky training range in the Russian Federation, as part of the command-and-staff exercise with the CSTO Collective Operational Reaction Forces (CORF) “Interaction-2026”, joint actions to liberate a populated area captured by a simulated adversary were practiced.
On September 29–30, 2026, the 6th International Conference of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on the spread of extremist ideology was held in Moscow. The CSTO delegation, comprising Umar Umarzoda, Head of the Department for Countering Challenges and Threats, and Igor Demchenko, Adviser to the Department, took part in the conference.
The Kyrgyz Republic has discussed details of joint training "Indestructible Brotherhood-2023" with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces

From June 20 to 22, the Kyrgyz Republic hosted the second staff talks on the organization and conduct of a joint training with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces "Indestructible Brotherhood-2023". Today in Bishkek, the heads of delegation signed a Protocol on the results of the negotiations.
Representatives of concerned ministries and departments of the CSTO member states, servicemen of the CSTO Joint Staff headed by the Deputy Head of the Joint Staff, Colonel Emilbek Tukayev, as well as employees of the CSTO Secretariat participated in the staff talks.
In the course of the staff talks, the basis for the design of the joint training, the composition of the command and control bodies and troops involved in the training, and issues concerning the organization of the training's leadership and comprehensive support, were considered. The participation of representatives of interested ministries and departments of the CSTO member states and international organizations was discussed.
Participants in the staff talks conducted reconnaissance of the training locations, as well as airfields and unloading (loading) stations and routes to the training area.
The joint training "Indestructible Brotherhood-2023" on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces is planned for autumn of this year at the final stage of the joint operational-strategic training "Combat Brotherhood-2023".
