A joint tactical and special training “Rock-2024” was held in the Republic of Kazakhstan with the units of the emergency response agencies of the CSTO member states 05.09.2024

The CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov took part in the final stage of the joint tactical and special training “Rock-2024” with units of the bodies authorized in the field of prevention and elimination of consequences of emergency situations of the CSTO member states. The event took place at the basic training ground for the CSTO rescue units “Rock City-Astana”.

The training involved rescue units of the bodies authorized in the field of prevention and elimination of the consequences of emergency situations of the CSTO member states - the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation.

On the first day of the training (4 September this year), two stages of the training were worked out, within the framework of which the work of the operational headquarters was organized in the format of a command-staff game to practice actions in the event of the threat and occurrence of an earthquake and to clarify the forces and means of the grouping of rescue units of the CSTO member states.

On September 5, the third stage - the practical part of the training - took place.
