Regular meeting of the Working Group on Electronic Warfare under the CSTO Council of Defense Ministers held in Saint Petersburg
A working meeting between CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov and Vasily Khristoforov, Director of the Institute of International Relations and Political Sciences of the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH) and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, was held at the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
On June 12, 2026, a conference entitled “Central Asia – the Core of the SCO: A Space of Peace and Shared Development” was held in Dushanbe under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan. Acting CSTO Deputy Secretary General Samat Ordabayev took part in the event.
On June 10, 2026, a regular meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Kazan (Russian Federation) under the chairmanship of the Russian side, with the participation of CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov. CIS Deputy Secretary General Denis Trefilov and SCO Deputy Secretary General Oleg Kopylov were also invited to attend the meeting.
The Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly held an external meeting in Bishkek

On May 19, 2025 in Bishkek, under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side, a meeting of the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly was held, during which the Secretary General of the Organization Imangali Tasmagambetov made a report on the theme: “On the implementation of decisions (November 2024) session of the CSTO SCS and measures taken to counter challenges and threats to collective security”.
The representatives of the national parliaments discussed in detail the military and political situation in the CSTO area of responsibility and considered the issues of unifying the legislation of the member states regulating the issues of countering challenges and threats to collective security.
