On June 3, 2026, a regular meeting of the CSTO Council of Defense Ministers (CDM) was held at the Patriot Central Park of the Russian Ministry of Defense under the chairmanship of the Russian side. In the Republic of Belarus, the liquidation of the accident at the BelNPP was practiced as part of the CSTO "Skala-2023" training.

During the tactical and special trainings, the practical work of the team in the event of a reactor accident, as well as the activities of the radiation reconnaissance team, with a demonstration of the capabilities of the mobile radiological laboratory, were demonstrated.
In practice, the issues of extinguishing a vertical steel tank with diesel fuel with the help of modern technical means, which are at the service of the bodies and units of emergency situations, in conditions of radioactive contamination of the area were worked out.
