Today, at the Losvido training range in Belarus, the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces Commander was presented with a mandate to conduct a peacekeeping operation at the command post as part of the “Indestructible Brotherhood-2026” command-and-staff exercise.
Servicemen of the Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District (CMD) have arrived in the Republic of Belarus to take part in the command-and-staff exercise with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces “Indestructible Brotherhood-2026” and the special exercise with the CSTO joint NBC protection and medical support formation “Barrier-2026”.
On October 7, 2026, the Fourth Counter-Terrorism Forum opened in Minsk (Republic of Belarus), bringing together the CIS Conference on Countering Terrorism and Extremism, the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure international scientific and practical conference, and joint counter-terrorism exercises.
The second stage of the CSTO joint trainings “Interaction-2025” and “Echelon-2025” has begun in the Republic of Belarus

On September 1, at the “Losvido” training ground, as part of the trainings “Interaction-2025” and “Echelon-2025”, the second stage began aimed at preparing a joint operation of the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces to participate in resolving the crisis situation in the territory of the CSTO member state.
The Commander of the CRRF, Colonel Alexei Elfimov, was presented with the operational directive of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. The operational staff of the command post began to clarify the task, assess the situation and prepare proposals for a joint operation.
The head of the CSTO Joint Staff, Colonel-General Andrey Serdyukov, arrived at the CRRF control center, where he got acquainted with the elements of the control center and the organization of work of officials of the CRRF Command.
The Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff also inspected the locations of military contingents, special forces formations and national cultural centers deployed in the field.
The CRRF contingents at the “Losvido” training ground carry out combat coordination during tactical training sessions.
A joint training with the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the CSTO "Interaction-2025", a special training with forces and means of reconnaissance "Search-2025", a special training with forces and means of logistical support "Echelon-2025" are being conducted on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
Contingents of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan are taking part in the trainings. Among them are military contingents, special forces formations from among the special units of the internal affairs bodies (police), security agencies and special services, authorized bodies in the field of emergency prevention and response, as well as operational groups of the Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat. In total, more than 2,000 military personnel and 450 units of weapons, military and special equipment are involved, including 9 combat aircraft and helicopters, over 70 different types of UAVs.
