On December 4, at the invitation of the Iranian side, a delegation from the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, led by Chief of the Joint Staff Colonel General Andrei Serdyukov, took part in the final stage of joint anti-terrorism trainings conducted by the competent authorities of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization “Sahand-Anti-Terror 2025” in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

A delegation from the CSTO Secretariat, led by the Deputy Secretary General Taalatbek Masadikov, took part from 1 to 5 December in the VIII Coordination Meeting of High-Level Representatives of the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the International Committee of the Red Cross (hereinafter referred to as the Coordination Meeting) at the ICRC headquarters in Geneva.

The XXIII meeting of the CSTO Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation was held in Astana 10.11.2025

The XXIII  meeting of the CSTO Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation was held in Astana (the Republic of Kazakhstan) under the chairmanship of Denis Manturov, Chairman of the CSTO Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation and First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.

The results of the activities of the Commission on the implementation of the decisions of the 22nd session of the ICMEC, held in September last year in Bishkek (the Kyrgyz Republic), were discussed.

Along with this, the meeting Agenda included discussions on further development of military-economic cooperation within the CSTO framework. These included organizing training for personnel at enterprises and organizations in the defense-industrial (military-industrial) complexes of the CSTO member states, the creation of an intergovernmental system for cataloguing items supplied to the armed forces, and ensuring mutual protection of intellectual property rights obtained and used in the course of military-economic cooperation within the CSTO. The Commission adopted appropriate decisions on all issues considered on the meeting agenda.

The Commission decided to hold the Second CSTO Military-Economic Conference in Minsk (the Republic of Belarus) in 2026, at which it plans to summarize the Commission's work over the past 20 years and set tasks for the near future.

The meeting approved the ICMEC Work Plan for 2026.

It was decided to hold the next, ХХIV meeting of the Commission in September-October 2026 in the Republic of Belarus.
