Today, at the Starodorozhsky training range in the Republic of Belarus, servicemen of the CSTO joint NBC protection and medical support formation began practical operations as part of the “Barrier-2026” special exercise.
Today, at the Losvido training range in Belarus, the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces Commander was presented with a mandate to conduct a peacekeeping operation at the command post as part of the “Indestructible Brotherhood-2026” command-and-staff exercise.
Servicemen of the Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District (CMD) have arrived in the Republic of Belarus to take part in the command-and-staff exercise with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces “Indestructible Brotherhood-2026” and the special exercise with the CSTO joint NBC protection and medical support formation “Barrier-2026”.

From October 14 to 19, units participating in joint trainings with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces “Indestructible Brotherhood-2025” and the special training with the joint formation of NBC protection and medical support of the CSTO “Barrier-2025” are regrouping in the Republic of Tajikistan.
Contingents of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) are being sent from the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Russian Federation to the training area in accordance with the plan. Personnel and cargo are being delivered by air and road transport.
The “Fakhrabad” training ground is hosting the joint training “Indestructible Brotherhood-2025,” which will focus on preparing and conducting a peacekeeping operation by the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces on the territory of a member state of the Organization. For the first time as part of the peacekeeping training, a special training is being held with the joint formation of NBC protection and medical support of the CSTO, “Barrier-2025,” during which issues related to the elimination of sources of biological threats will be worked out in the interests of the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces.
The active phases of the CSTO trainings are being conducted in conjunction with the final stage of the joint anti-terrorism training of the competent authorities of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, “Commonwealth Anti-Terror 2025.”
