On June 23, 2026, a ceremonial event was held at the Advanced Training Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation to mark the 20th anniversary of the CSTO Collective Security Council's decision granting the Institute the status of the Basic Educational Institution for Continuing Professional Education of law enforcement and special service personnel of the CSTO member states in the fields of counterterrorism, combating extremism, illicit drug trafficking, illegal migration, and other forms of transnational organized crime, as well as for the training of specialists for peacekeeping missions and teaching staff of educational institutions.

The 23rd International Seminar-Meeting on Comprehensive Combat with Heads of Combat and Physical Training of Law Enforcement Agencies of CSTO Member States Was Held 10.04.2026

From 6 to 8 April 2026, the 23rd International Seminar-Meeting on Comprehensive Combat with heads of combat and physical training of law enforcement ministries and agencies of the CSTO member states was held at the Ognikovo Park Hotel in the Istra District of the Moscow Region.

Nikolai Bordyuzha, President of the International Federation of Comprehensive Combat, addressed the event.

The seminar was also attended by representatives of law enforcement ministries and agencies of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Vietnam.

The participants familiarized themselves with the techniques and methodological framework of comprehensive combat, as well as with the rules for the preparation and conduct this year of the 23rd International Tournament in Comprehensive Combat for the CSTO Secretary General’s Cup, and discussed topical issues related to strengthening international and interagency cooperation in the applied areas of this type of combat.
