The Protocol amending the Agreement on Cooperation of the CSTO Member States in the Field of Transportation of Military and Other Formations, Their Movable Property, as well as Military Products, and the Protocol amending the Agreement on the Status of Formations of Forces and Means of the CSTO Collective Security System, signed during the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council in Astana on 28 November 2024, have entered into force.

The Presidents of the Republic of Belarus and Russia have had a telephone conversation

On May 3, this year, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko had a telephone conversation. According to the kremlin.ru website, they discussed certain aspects of interaction within the framework of integration associations in the Eurasian space, including in connection with preparations for the upcoming meeting of the leaders of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. Following the Russian-Belarusian talks at the highest level on April 12, they discussed some issues on the bilateral agenda and the advancement of Union State building. The parties confirmed their mutual commitment to further strengthening of the Russian-Belarusian partnership and alliance.
