On 13 July, Minsk hosted the 2nd meeting of the Coordination Council of authorized bodies of the CSTO member States on biological security issues. The Council meeting was attended by representatives of all CSTO member states.

According to the kremlin.ru website, they discussed certain aspects of interaction within the framework of integration associations in the Eurasian space, including in connection with preparations for the upcoming meeting of the leaders of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. Following the Russian-Belarusian talks at the highest level on April 12, they discussed some issues on the bilateral agenda and the advancement of Union State building. The parties confirmed their mutual commitment to further strengthening of the Russian-Belarusian partnership and alliance.
