The meeting of the Working Group on Military-Economic Cooperation under the Chairman of the CSTO Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation was held 24.04.2026

On 23–24 April 2026, a meeting of the Working Group on Military-Economic Cooperation under the Chairman of the CSTO Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation was held.

The meeting took place in Moscow at the CSTO Joint Staff under the chairmanship of Secretary of the CSTO Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation (ICMEC, the Commission) Viktor Zinovyev.

The participants reviewed the progress in implementing the decisions of the 23rd meeting of the ICMEC, held in November 2025 in Astana (Republic of Kazakhstan), and discussed and agreed on the list of issues to be submitted for consideration at the 24th meeting of the ICMEC, scheduled for 18 June this year in Minsk (Republic of Belarus), which will be held within the framework of the business program of the 3rd International Exhibition of the Security Industry “National Security. Belarus – 2026” (17–19 June this year, Minsk).

As a result of the meeting, draft decisions of the Commission were approved on the establishment of an interstate system for cataloguing military supplies of the armed forces of the CSTO member states, on ensuring mutual protection of intellectual property rights to the results of intellectual activity obtained and used in the course of military-economic cooperation within the CSTO framework, as well as on a number of organizational issues.

In addition, draft agenda and protocol of the 24th meeting of the ICMEC were agreed.
