A working meeting chaired by Lieutenant General Anatoly Yakovlev, Head of the CSTO Troop Deployment Planning Department (Collective Forces), was held with the participation of representatives of the defense ministries of the Republic of Belarus (via videoconferencing), the Russian Federation, and the CSTO Joint Staff.
On 5 March 2026, a working meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization between CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation Yuri Seliverstov.
On 4 March, Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Adilet Orozbekov presented certificates of advanced training in the field of “Information Security of Automated Systems” to civil servants.
The Protocol amending the Agreement on Cooperation of the CSTO Member States in the Field of Transportation of Military and Other Formations, Their Movable Property, as well as Military Products, and the Protocol amending the Agreement on the Status of Formations of Forces and Means of the CSTO Collective Security System, signed during the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council in Astana on 28 November 2024, have entered into force.

A meeting of the Working Group under the CSTO Council of Defense Ministers on issues related to the logistical support of CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) was held today via videoconferencing under the chairmanship of Lieutenant General Andrei Bulyga, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The meeting was attended by Major General Andrei Burdyko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Home Front - Head of Home Front of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, Major General Andrei Fedin, Deputy Minister of Defense for Armament - Head of Armament of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, Major General Bakytbek Sydykov, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Armament and Military Equipment, Major General Bakytbek Sydykov, Colonel Aibek Daiyrkul, Head of the Main Logistics Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, Acting Head of the Main Logistics Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Colonel Aibek Daiyrkul, Acting Head of the Main Logistics Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic Sergey Gurinov, Major General Vladimir Konovalov, Chief of the Logistics Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Major General Bobojon Saidzoda, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan for Logistics, and Major General Ilhomjon Hafizzoda, Deputy Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff.
The members of the Working Group considered issues relating to the politico-military situation in the regions of collective security, mechanisms for cooperation in equipping the groupings of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) with modern weapons, military and special equipment, topical issues of logistics and technical support in providing assistance to a CSTO member state in responding to a crisis situation, and areas of research in the area of logistics and technical support for the groupings of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces).
During the meeting, the results of the “Echelon-2024” special training with the logistical support forces and means of the CSTO Troops (Collective Security Forces) were discussed. It was noted that, for the first time in mountainous conditions, catering and heating points for personnel were deployed on the routes of the convoys, and the refueling of equipment and the provision of technical assistance were practiced. The issues of transportation and delivery of materiel by a combined method using air, road and pack transport were also successfully worked out.
The next meeting of the Working Group under the CSTO Council of Defense Ministers on issues related to the logistical support of CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) is scheduled to be held in the Republic of Belarus during the special training “Echelon-2025”.
In 2025, the Working Group's main efforts will be aimed at improving the system of logistical and technical support for the groupings of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces), including with regard to enhancing the technical compatibility of weapons, military and special equipment.
В 2025 году основные усилия Рабочей группы будут направлены на совершенствование системы тылового и технического обеспечения группировок Войск (Коллективных сил) ОДКБ, в том числе в вопросе повышения технической совместимости вооружения, военной и специальной техники.
