Today, the active phase of the joint exercise with the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region (CRDF CAR) “Frontier-2026” concluded on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the “Conduct of combat operations” stage, two main training objectives are being practiced: the occupation by the national contingents of the CRDF CAR of the area of responsibility and the destruction of illegal armed formations that have invaded the territory of a CSTO member state.
The active phase of the joint exercise with the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region (CRDF CAR) “Frontier-2026” has begun at the Koktal training range in the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the exercise, the participating forces are practicing the preparation and conduct of combat operations to destroy illegal armed formations that have invaded the territory of a CSTO member state.
Regular meeting of the CSTO Permanent Council was held
13.07.2021The meeting continued work on draft documents that are under negotiation in the framework of the CSTO Permanent Council.
The Permanent Council members heard information from the Organization's Secretariat on the status of CSTO peacekeeping activities.
In the course of the Permanent Council meeting, the Permanent and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the CSTO Victor Biyagov informed about the situation in a number of regions bordering with the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Syunik and Gegharkunik regions of the Republic of Armenia, which has developed: "due to the infiltration of the units of the armed forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan into the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia".
