From October 13 to 16, 2025, the 23rd International Combat Sambo Tournament for the Cup of the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, featuring law enforcement personnel from CSTO member states, was held at the Ognikovo Park Hotel (19 Ognikovo, Istra District, Moscow Region).
Today, the final stages of the command-and-staff exercise with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces “Indestructible Brotherhood-2026” and the special exercise with the CSTO joint NBC protection and medical support formation “Barrier-2026” took place at the Losvido and Starodorozhsky training ranges in the Republic of Belarus.
On October 15–16, a CSTO, CIS and SCO conference on security issues in Central Asia and Afghanistan was held in Moscow as part of Russia’s CSTO chairmanship programme.
At the Losvido training range in the Republic of Belarus, peacekeeping units repelled a simulated enemy attack on a humanitarian convoy during the command-and-staff exercise with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces “Indestructible Brotherhood-2026”.

The ХХ meeting of the Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation

The event was held in Moscow as part of the business program of the International Exhibition of Means of State Security "INTERPOLITECH-2022”.
The CSTO Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov took part in the meeting.
The meeting participants considered the results of the activities of the Commission to implement the decisions of the ХIХ meeting of the ICMEC, held in September last year in Minsk, as well as the results of the current decisions of the Organization, including the CSTO Collective Security Council, on the development of military-economic cooperation between the member states of the Organization.
As a result of the exchange of views by members of the Commission, a number of important decisions were taken on the further development of military and economic cooperation within the CSTO format.
In particular, the draft Agreement on the Standardization of Armaments and Military Equipment within the CSTO was finalized and agreed upon, taking into account the comments and proposals made by the Organization's member states in the course of its internal negotiation.
The Commission has reviewed and approved a set of draft methodological documents on the creation of an interstate system for cataloguing supplies for the armed forces of CSTO member states. Their subsequent approval by decision of the CSTO Council of Defense Ministers will make it possible for participants in military and economic cooperation to use these documents in the process of developing and maintaining the interstate catalog of supplies for the armed forces of CSTO member states.
The Commission has approved the List of international exhibitions to be held in 2023 - 2024, which can be the exposition of military, dual and special purpose products and technologies of the CSTO member states.
In addition, the Commission approved its Work Plan for 2023.
It was decided to hold the next XXI meeting of the ICMEC in April 2023 in the Republic of Tajikistan.
