On July 4, 2025, a delegation of the CSTO Secretariat visited the Central Military-Patriotic Park of Culture and Recreation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation "Patriot".
The Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov received the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO member states and the Secretary General of the Organization in Cholpon-Ata on June 30. The meeting was attended by the Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
On June 30, 2025, a regular meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Cholpon-Ata (the Kyrgyz Republic) under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side, which was attended by the Organization's Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov.
The second staff talks on preparations for the CSTO international tactical and special trainings “Cobalt-2024” were held

In Novosibirsk, staff talks were held with participants from the ministries and departments concerned of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the CSTO Secretariat. Within the framework of these talks they have discussed preparations for the special trainings “Cobalt-2024” with the management bodies and formations of the special-purpose forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization's Collective Rapid Reaction Forces.
The meeting participants have reviewed and agreed on the idea of the trainings and the organization of comprehensive support. During the meeting, a reconnaissance of the training areas and the deployment of the leadership and operational headquarters was carried out.
Following the staff talks, the participants reached an agreement on holding the special training “Cobalt-2024” in the second half of 2024.
The heads of delegations of the CSTO member states participating in the second staff talks highly appreciated the preparation and conduct of the event.
