From October 18 to 23 this year, a special exercise codenamed “Cobalt-2026” will be held in the Republic of Tajikistan.

On December 23, this year, the CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas, who is in Yerevan on a working visit, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Chairman of the CSTO Ministerial Council, Ararat Mirzoyan.
In the course of the meeting, Ararat Mirzoyan stressed the importance of summing up the results of the draft "Action Plan for the implementation of the decisions of the September (2021) session of the CSTO Collective Security Council and the implementation of the organization's priority activities during the Armenian presidency" presented by Stanislav Zas. The CSTO Secretary General spoke in detail about the content of the draft Plan and said that the Secretariat and the CSTO Joint Staff would make all necessary efforts to implement the Plan in a timely manner.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia also presented the situation in the Armenia's eastern border zone and stressed the need for practical steps to increase the level of stability and security in accordance with the tripartite statement of November 26, 2021. He reiterated the importance of allied cooperation of the CSTO member States to ensure security and stability on a collective basis.
