A working meeting between CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov and Vasily Khristoforov, Director of the Institute of International Relations and Political Sciences of the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH) and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, was held at the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
On June 12, 2026, a conference entitled “Central Asia – the Core of the SCO: A Space of Peace and Shared Development” was held in Dushanbe under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan. Acting CSTO Deputy Secretary General Samat Ordabayev took part in the event.
On June 10, 2026, a regular meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Kazan (Russian Federation) under the chairmanship of the Russian side, with the participation of CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov. CIS Deputy Secretary General Denis Trefilov and SCO Deputy Secretary General Oleg Kopylov were also invited to attend the meeting.
On June 9, 2026, a delegation of the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, headed by CSTO Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov, took part in the 19th Meeting of Heads of Lead Counter-Terrorism Units of the Competent Authorities of the CIS Member States and Heads of National Structures Responsible for Coordinating Counter-Terrorism and Counter-Extremism Activities. The event was organized by the Anti-Terrorism Center of the CIS Member States.

On May 6, 2026, a meeting was held at the CSTO Secretariat between the CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov and newly appointed Permanent and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the CSTO Vladimir Bespaly.
Talatbek Masadykov congratulated Vladimir Bespaly on his appointment.
The interlocutors discussed current issues related to international politics and security, as well as matters concerning the Organization’s ongoing activities.
Vladimir Bespaly emphasized the Belarusian side’s commitment to constructive and proactive work in the interests of collective security.
