The CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov met with leading Russian experts in the field of international politics
On October 16, 2025, a meeting was held at the CSTO Secretariat between CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations at MGIMO University Andrei Sushencov, and Deputy Director of the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies at the Faculty of World Economy and World Politics at the Higher School of Economics Dmitry Suslov.
The event was the latest in a series of meetings between the CSTO Secretary General and representatives of the expert community of the Organization's member states. Its central theme was the role of the United States in contemporary international affairs, including Washington's geopolitical strategy toward the EU and China, as well as the prospects for Russian-American relations.
The interlocutors exchanged views on a wide range of topical military and political issues and touched upon the issue of Eurasian security.
