On November 3, 2026, the 4th Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security was held in Minsk. The event was attended by President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov, CIS Secretary General Sergey Lebedev, SCO Secretary General Nurlan Yermekbayev, OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu, representatives of the leadership of the foreign ministries of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan and a number of other states.
On October 30, 2026, the results of the “Channel-Caspian Lighthouse” subregional anti-drug operation were summed up as part of the implementation of the 2026 Plan of Key Activities of the Coordinating Council of Heads of Competent Drug Control Authorities of CSTO Member States (CCHCDCA).
From October 18 to 23 this year, in accordance with the 2026 Plan for the Joint Training of Command and Control Bodies and Formations of Forces and Assets of the Collective Security System of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the “Cobalt-2026” special exercise was held at the Magob training range of the Special Purpose Units Training Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

On September 3, 2025, the thirteenth meeting of Senior Administrative Officials of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was held in Beijing “on the margins” of the meeting of the Council of Heads of the SCO member states and the “SCO+” format. It was attended by the CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov, the CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev and the SCO Secretary General Nurlan Yermekbayev.
In a friendly atmosphere, the sides exchanged views on topical issues of the international situation, as well as priority areas of activity of the three organizations. Proposals for further development and strengthening of cooperation in the field of regional security and countering new challenges and threats were discussed.
There was a unanimous opinion that the CSTO, the CIS and the SCO have an ever-increasing role to play in maintaining global peace and regional security and preventing instability. The parties stated their commitment to the formation of a new Eurasian security architecture, the development of economic cooperation and interaction in the cultural sphere. The intention to ensure the linking of integration projects and the harmonization of relations between development centers in Eurasia was confirmed.
A signing ceremony was held for the Roadmap for the development of cooperation between the CSTO, the CIS and the SCO, as well as a joint statement by the Secretaries General of the CSTO, the CIS and the SCO on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations.
