On 5 March 2026, a working meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization between CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation Yuri Seliverstov.
On 4 March, Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Adilet Orozbekov presented certificates of advanced training in the field of “Information Security of Automated Systems” to civil servants.
Russian representative Andrei Shvedov was elected Chairman of the CSTO Permanent Council

On December 3, 2019, a meeting of the Permanent Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, chaired by the Permanent and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic Aman Mambetseyitov, was held. The CSTO Acting Secretary General Valery Semerikov took part in the meeting.
They discussed the preparations for the working meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the CSTO member states, which will be held on December 5, 2019 on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Bratislava.
In connection with the transfer of the chairmanship of the CSTO in 2019-2020 to the Russian Federation, the Permanent and Plenipotentiary Representative of Russia to the CSTO, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Andrei Vladimirovich Shvedov was elected Chairman of the Permanent Council. The plenipotentiary representative of Kyrgyzstan handed him a wooden hammer, symbolizing the adoption of decisions by the CSTO Permanent Council. Aman Mambetseyitov was thanked for the fruitful and constructive work as Chairman of the Permanent Council of the Organization in 2018-2019.
