YEREVAN, November 5 - RIA Novosti. State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin was elected Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (The CSTO PA) for the next three years. 
Such a decision was made during the plenary meeting of the assembly, which takes place on Tuesday, November 5, at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

Earlier, the speaker of the parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic (Jogorku Kenesh) Dastanbek Dzhumabekov made a proposal to nominate Volodin for this position during a meeting of the Assembly Council.
