On June 9, 2026, a delegation of the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, headed by CSTO Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov, took part in the 19th Meeting of Heads of Lead Counter-Terrorism Units of the Competent Authorities of the CIS Member States and Heads of National Structures Responsible for Coordinating Counter-Terrorism and Counter-Extremism Activities. The event was organized by the Anti-Terrorism Center of the CIS Member States.
A working meeting between CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov and Director of the Institute of China and Contemporary Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences Kirill Babaev was held at the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
From June 2 to 4, the Republic of Belarus hosted the second staff talks on the organization and conduct of the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces command-and-staff exercise “Indestructible Brotherhood 2026” and the special exercise “Barrier 2026” involving the CSTO Joint CBRN Protection and Medical Support Formation.
On June 3, 2026, a regular meeting of the CSTO Council of Defense Ministers (CDM) was held at the Patriot Central Park of the Russian Ministry of Defense under the chairmanship of the Russian side. The meeting was attended by CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov and Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Andrey Serdyukov.
From June 1 to 3, Saratov (Russian Federation) is hosting a series of events involving the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization aimed at strengthening the collective response system to biological threats.

04.07.2022The winners and active participants in the social media contest "30 YEARS OF THE CSTO! TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG!” were awarded by certificates of achievement signed by the CSTO Secretary General and prizes.
The winners were: 1st place - Oleg Nekalo, the Republic of Belarus; 2nd place - Sergey Venyavsky, the Russian Federation; 3rd place - Ruslan Akhmetshin, the Kyrgyz Republic.
The contest was held from May 13, 2022 to June 1, 2022 in accordance with the “Plan of events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Collective Security Treaty and the 20th anniversary of the Collective Security Treaty Organization", the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization held the contest "30 YEARS OF THE CSTO! TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG!
The aim of the Contest was to raise awareness of the target audience about the CSTO activities and to promote its goals and principles. Contest participants published materials describing the history of the Organization, political and military cooperation, counteraction to modern challenges and threats, security of information space, parliamentary cooperation.
