On 20 April 2026, a meeting of the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly was held in Moscow under the chairmanship of the Russian side. During the meeting, CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov delivered a report entitled “On the progress in implementing the decisions of the November (2025) session of the CSTO Collective Security Council and measures taken to counter challenges and threats to collective security.”

On 16 April 2026, the 21st meeting of the Council of the CSTO Consultative Coordination Center for Computer Incident Response (CCC CSTO) was held in Moscow, with the participation of delegations of representatives of national competent authorities for computer incident response of the Organization’s member states, as well as a delegation of the CSTO Secretariat headed by Umarzoda Umar Safar, Head of the Countering Challenges and Threats Department of the CSTO Secretariat.

The Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff has discussed with the Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic the preparation of the joint training "Indestructible Brotherhood-2023" with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces 27.09.2023

On 26 and 27 September, Colonel-General Anatoly Sidorov, Chief of the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, made a working visit to the Kyrgyz Republic to discuss organizational issues and inspect the sites for the joint training "Indestructible Brotherhood-2023" with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces.

During his visit, Colonel-General Anatoly Sidorov visited the “Edelweiss” training ground and familiarized himself with the procedure for the deployment and provision of contingents from the CSTO member states, the layout of the training areas and the list of topics to be practiced. Special attention was paid to the inspection of the locations of the joint command posts and the areas where the contingents will practice the main tactical episodes of the training.

During his working visit to Bishkek, he met with Lieutenant General Baktybek Bekbolotov, Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, during which they discussed the preparation and conduct of the joint training "Indestructible Brotherhood-2023" with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces.

The training will be held on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic from 9 to 13 October as the final stage of the joint CSTO operational-strategic training “Combat Brotherhood-2023”. During the training, the tasks of post-conflict settlement in the crisis zone will be worked out, including the conduct of a peacekeeping operation using the forces and means of the CSTO collective security system and the provision of humanitarian assistance.

Practical activities include carrying out the following tasks:

  • actions of the units of the Collective Peacekeeping Forces at checkpoints, filtration points and joint tasks with the Ministry of Emergency Situations at the casualty reception point;

  • actions of units of the Collective Peacekeeping Forces in escorting convoys and cargoes, blocking and inspecting populated areas;

  • escorting convoys and assisting the Ministry of Emergency Situations in providing humanitarian aid.
