Comment by CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov on the Ukrainian drone strike against a bus carrying citizens of the Republic of Belarus, including children
17.06.2026
On behalf of the CSTO Secretariat, I express my deepest condolences to our Belarusian colleagues in connection with the Ukrainian drone strike against a bus carrying citizens of the Republic of Belarus, including children, in the Bryansk Region of the Russian Federation. According to current reports, one passenger was killed and eight others were injured.
I strongly condemn this criminal act. I am convinced that there can be no justification for actions directed against civilians, especially children.
I wish a speedy recovery to all those who were injured.
