Today, at the “Losvido” training ground in the Republic of Belarus, as part of the joint training “Interaction-2025”, the Commander of the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces, Colonel Alexei Elfimov, a representative of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, reported on the decision to conduct a joint operation to participate in resolving the crisis situation in the territory of the CSTO member state and ensure the deployment of a regional group of troops.
The Decision defines the areas of concentration of the main efforts, the main tasks for military contingents and formations of special forces, the main issues of interaction, comprehensive support and management.
Colonel-General Andrey Serdyukov, Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, took part in the hearing.
After the approval of the Decision, the Command of the CSTO CRRF began planning a joint operation and organizing interaction. As part of the training, combat orders are sent to subordinate formations and military units.
A joint training with the CSTO CRRF "Interaction-2025", a special training with forces and means of reconnaissance "Search-2025", and a special training with forces and means of logistical support "Echelon-2025" are being conducted on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
Contingents of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan are taking part in the trainings. Among them are military contingents, special forces formations from among the special units of the internal affairs bodies (police), security agencies and special services, authorized bodies in the field of emergency prevention and response, as well as operational groups of the Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat. In total, more than 2,000 military personnel and 450 units of weapons, military and special equipment are involved, including 9 combat aircraft and helicopters, over 70 different types of UAVs.
