Today, the active phase of the joint exercise with the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region (CRDF CAR) “Frontier-2026” concluded on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the “Conduct of combat operations” stage, two main training objectives are being practiced: the occupation by the national contingents of the CRDF CAR of the area of responsibility and the destruction of illegal armed formations that have invaded the territory of a CSTO member state.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, on September 26, 2024, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu, a working meeting of foreign ministers of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) was held. This meeting occurs annually on the margins of the UN General Assembly.
The Ministers have exchanged views on topical issues of the 79th session of the UNGA, and discussed priority areas of cooperation between the UN and the CSTO.
М. Nurtleu informed his colleagues about Kazakhstan's position on various aspects of the CSTO activities within the framework of the current chairmanship in the Organization and shared his vision of further development of this regional structure.
The ministerial meeting was held in a traditionally friendly atmosphere, the parties confirmed the focus on the development of further mutually beneficial cooperation between the CSTO and the universal comprehensive organization.
