A working meeting between CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov and Director of the Institute of China and Contemporary Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences Kirill Babaev was held at the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
From June 2 to 4, the Republic of Belarus hosted the second staff talks on the organization and conduct of the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces command-and-staff exercise “Indestructible Brotherhood 2026” and the special exercise “Barrier 2026” involving the CSTO Joint CBRN Protection and Medical Support Formation.
On June 3, 2026, a regular meeting of the CSTO Council of Defense Ministers (CDM) was held at the Patriot Central Park of the Russian Ministry of Defense under the chairmanship of the Russian side. On April 19, this year, in the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas had a working meeting with the Executive Secretary - Head of the Secretariat of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Sergei Pospelov.
The parties have discussed the cooperation of the CSTO working bodies and the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Secretariat, as well as holding joint events scheduled for 2021.
S. Zas and S. Pospelov exchanged views on the legal support for the implementation of the decisions of the CSTO Collective Security Council.
At the end of the meeting, the intention was confirmed to continue the practice of interaction between the CSTO working bodies and the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Secretariat in the interests of the CSTO member states.
