CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov took part in a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and ambassadors of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The discussion was held in a friendly atmosphere. The participants exchanged views on pressing international issues and reviewed the results of multilateral cooperation within Eurasian integration associations in 2025. Tasks for the near term were outlined, including strengthening foreign policy coordination, expanding cooperation in the trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian fields, and enhancing efforts to ensure regional security.
