The CSTO Secretary General will arrive in the Kyrgyz Republic on a working visit
30.08.2021On September 1-2, this year, the Collective Security Treaty Organization Secretary General Stanislav Zas will arrive in the Kyrgyz Republic for meetings with the political and defense establishments of the country.
Stanislav Zas is expected to be received by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov. The Secretary General is also scheduled to meet with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, the Ministers of Defense, and the Secretary of the Security Council of the country.
The CSTO Secretary General will discuss the preparation for the upcoming regular session of the Collective Security Council in Dushanbe on September 15-16, and a joint meeting of the CFM, the CMD and CSSC, as well as inform about the situation in the CSTO area of responsibility.
On the day before the visit, Stanislav Zas said: "On the eve of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the leadership and citizens of the country on this great holiday and wish peace, good and prosperity to everyone!"
He noted that the CSTO member States highly appreciated the role of the Kyrgyz Republic in strengthening peace and stability in the Eurasian space, as well as increasing the effectiveness of interaction within the entire Organization.
