On July 4, 2025, a delegation of the CSTO Secretariat visited the Central Military-Patriotic Park of Culture and Recreation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation "Patriot".
The Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov received the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO member states and the Secretary General of the Organization in Cholpon-Ata on June 30. The meeting was attended by the Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
On June 30, 2025, a regular meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Cholpon-Ata (the Kyrgyz Republic) under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side, which was attended by the Organization's Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov.
The CSTO Secretary General and the Head of the CIS ATC have discussed cooperation in countering terrorism and extremism
On February 2, this year, the CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas and the new head of the Commonwealth of Independent States' Anti-Terrorism Center, Evgeny Sysoyev, met in Moscow. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov, the First Deputy Head of the CIS ATC - representative of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS member States Zhanat Saypoldayev, the Deputy Head of the CIS ATC - representative of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS member States Pavel Tikhonov, and the Deputy Head of the CIS ATC - representative of the Council of Border Guard Troops Commander Aibek Kutmanov.
During the meeting the parties exchanged views on tendencies and condition of operational situation in the zones of responsibility of organizations and discussed practical cooperation of the CSTO with the CIS ATC in the sphere of combating terrorism and extremism.
The CSTO Secretary General and the Head of the CIS ATC stressed the importance of consolidating joint efforts in the face of growing terrorist threats and expressed interest in expanding bilateral cooperation.
