A working meeting between Imangali Tasmagambetov, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, and Sergey Pospelov, Executive Secretary of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, took place in Moscow.
During the meeting, the parties have discussed the interim results of Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship of the CSTO, as well as preparations for Russia's upcoming chairmanship.
Particular attention was paid to issues related to the organization of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Council, which will be held in Moscow at the end of this year.
The meeting participants exchanged views on the prospects for further cooperation and measures to promote the parliamentary dimension of the CSTO's activities.
